strathness house was amazin! the location right on the river is perfect, and we got a super nice view of the ness. the staff was really friendly and helped us with everything. breakfast was plenty and delish! the historical vibe of the hotel was really cool, added to the whole experience.
the shower stall was a bit cramped and the beds were kinda springy, not the comfiest. also, parking was a hassle when we first got there, took a while to find a spot!

Fantastic location by the river!
I recently had a lovely stay at this charming guesthouse near the River Ness, with stunning views of the castle from my room. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, providing personalized recommendations to enhance my experience in Inverness. I particularly enjoyed the customized breakfast options, which were delicious and satisfying. One drawback was the slight noise from the street outside, but it didn’t disrupt my restful nights too much.

Charming yet compact stay
My stay was delightful despite the limited space in my room. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and the Indian restaurant on-site served a fantastic vegetarian meal. For visitors, check out the nearby Cathedral car park for overnight parking. it’s super convenient!

Cozy vibe in the heart of town!
We had a good stay! The place is super quiet at night, which we loved. Breakfast was delish with tons of options. Just a heads up, our room was a bit tiny—couldn't get my suitcase open fully without bumping into things. The Indian food on-site was awesome though, a real treat after a long day!

Couple seeking a delightful stay
The view from our room overlooking the river was something out of a movie. We were greeted by the owners who treated us like family, offering recommendations like we were VIPs.
It wasn't exactly inexpensive but you know what, it was worth every penny.

View of River Ness, Charming Historic Environment, Stunning Walking Paths Along the River
Rooms are rather small, making it a challenge to move around!!! The air conditioning is sorely needed during warmer days, causing discomfort without proper ventilation!!! A few more updates on the decor would greatly enhance the overall vibe!!!
